Tanner EAP . . .
is the west Georgia work based resource designed to assist employees and managers in identifying and resolving issues that interfere with workplace productivity. The EAP is available to all employees and dependents of Tanner Health System and, by contract, to other companies within the west Georgia region.

Tanner Tracks is the quarterly newsletter of Tanner EAP. Each quarter's issue is filled with interesting information and practical solutions to everyday concerns. EAP for Managers
Managers are one of the most essential ingredients in any successful employee assistance program. They are in touch daily with their employees’ job performance and are aware of those times when an employee is dealing with a personal issue or when an employee’s accomplishments fall below the usual standard. The EAP becomes a management resource, one of many, that can be used to assist the employee. If the manager has been made aware of an employee’s personal concerns, he or she may encourage the employee to make an appointment and provide them with additional information about the EAP including location, phone number and the confidential nature of the EAP services. If those concerns have begun to affect the employee’s effectiveness at work, the manager may even suggest the EAP as a way to resolve their personal problems and thus prevent future interference with job expectations.
